Caller
ID allows i-Line subscribers to view an incoming
caller's phone number before answering the call. With
caller ID, when your phone rings, the incoming caller's
number appears on the display screen of your telephone.
Your phone must have caller ID capability for
this feature to be used.

|
 |
You can prevent
your phone number from being displayed when calling, by using
Permanent Calling Line ID Blocking. This feature allows you to block your
number from being shown when calling other numbers. You have the
choice of turning it on or off for all calls from the
my account section.
|
 |
To block your
Caller ID information on a per call basis follow the
instructions shown below.
To activate
Occasional Caller ID Blocking:
- Pick up
the phone.
- When you
get a dial tone, dial *67.
- Wait for a
new dial tone.
- Dial the
phone number of the person you wish to call.

|
 |
Three-way
calling allows you to create an instant conference call between
yourself and other two parties. No special equipment is required
to use Three-way calling.
To initiate a
Three-Way Call:
- While you
are on a call press the flash button or switch hook on your
phone.
- When you
get a dial tone, dial your second contact.
- When the
second contact answers, press flash or the switch hook
again.
-
Immediately, you and your two contacts will be connected on
a conference call.

|
 |
Call Waiting
permits callers to get through to you even when you are on the
phone with another call. You will hear a beep indicating an
incoming call. You will then be able to put your current caller
on hold and answer the new call. You can continue to alternate
between parties as often as you'd like. It's like having two
lines while paying for only one.
How does it
work? When you are on a call and the line beeps, simply press
the flash button or switch hook. You will be connected with the
waiting party and your original party will be placed on hold.
Press the flash button or switch hook again, to reconnect to the
original party and hold the waiting party. If a third caller
tries to reach you they'll get a busy signal or be forwarded to
voicemail.
This feature
can be enabled and disabled simply by dialing *70 from your i-line.
|
 |
Voicemail is a
service that allows callers to leave messages when you are not
available to answer your phone. Our voicemail permits you to
record your own outgoing message, so that when calls are routed
to your voicemail, they will hear your voicemail greeting and
have the option to leave a message.

|
 |
Call Forwarding
allows you to forward all your incoming calls to a different
phone number, such as your home, friend's house, office or cell
phone. Call Forwarding makes your life easier because it gives
you the control you want. Turn it on when you need it. Turn it
off when you don't. Note that the number you forward your calls
to must be permitted by your outgoing calling plan.
Call
Forwarding instruction:
To enable
call forwarding:
Dial *72 + the phone number you which to forward calls to. A
recording will confirm.
To disable call forwarding:
Dial *73. A recording will confirm.
This feature
can also be manipulated from the my
account section.
|
 |
Last Caller
Recall is a service that allows you to get the phone number of
the last incoming call whether you answered it or not. To use
the feature: Pick up the phone. Press *69 and listen to the
recording of phone number.
|
 |
This feature
allows you to access your calls records 7 days a week 24 hours a
day. Simply logon and review all incoming and outgoing calls.
These records are real time so you always have access to the
latest and most up to date information.
|
 |
Save time and
money with our Online Account Management. This service lets you
view and manage all aspects of all your services.

Reverse Calling is a unique feature whereby a caller who
is not a subscriber to our service may place a call to a
subscriber and not incur a long distance charge.
The non-subscriber would call one of our
local access
numbers and then enter the telephone number of the Unitz
subscriber. Our system then processes the call by
calling the valid subscriber and connecting the two
parties.
